Wegmans is a supermarket chain with an existing brand, a loyal customer base, and a strong culture. While the business itself is successful, their mobile app is not and has many issues that do not consider the primary needs of users. The rebrand is based off of the original Wegmans brand identity with the intent to better meet the needs of its consumers.
